Cancelation policies
Casual
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the start of your event to receive a full refund.
- There are no refunds for single-day events that are canceled fewer than 24 hours before the start of the event.
- For multi-day events, if you cancel fewer than 24 hours before the start time on the first day, that day will be charged in full. The chef’s hourly or daily rate for subsequent days will be refunded; proposed items, costs for additional services, and the Chef2Nite service fee are nonrefundable.
Moderate
- Cancel at least 5 full days before the start of your event to receive a full refund.
- There are no refunds for single-day events that are canceled fewer than 5 full days before the start of the event.
- For multi-day events, if you cancel fewer than 5 full days before the start time on the first day, that day will be charged in full. 50% of the chef’s hourly or daily rate for subsequent days will be refunded; proposed items, costs for additional services, and the Chef2Nite service fee are nonrefundable.
Strict
- For events booked at least 30 days in advance, the host will receive a full refund if canceling within 48 hours after booking.
- Receive a 50% refund of the amount paid less the Chef2Nite service fee if you cancel at least 14 days before the start of your scheduled event.
- There are no refunds for events that are canceled fewer than 14 full days before the start of the event. This includes events that are booked fewer than 14 days before the event.
Any host who has received 3 Chef2Nite service fee refunds within the last 12 months will forfeit any future service fees on cancelation, even if they are otherwise refundable.
