My name is Sidney Ajerie, founder and chef of Jaybee’s Eats, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I specialize in Surinamese and Caribbean home-cooked meals that blend bold flavors, tradition, and creativity.
Cooking has always been more than a job for me it’s my passion and my way of connecting with people. Every dish I make reflects my love for flavor, culture, and quality. At Jaybee’s, I focus on authentic Surinamese comfort food with a modern twist, inspired by the country’s diverse roots African, Indian, Javanese, and Dutch.
Some of my customer favorites include Shawarma fries, BBQ chicken, Surinamese spaghetti with chicken, and homemade burgers, all made fresh with love and perfectly balanced spices. I also serve refreshing drinks like ginger juice and lemonade, crafted to complement each meal.
